Deleting your data

Last updated: 27 August 2026

You can have your data removed from Clearmarks at any time. This page explains how, what happens, and how long it takes.

If you are a Clearmarks customer

Two options, depending on how much you want removed.

Disconnect a single source

In the dashboard, open Your connections and disconnect the account. The stored credentials for that account are destroyed immediately, and nothing further is read from it. Nobody needs to approve this and it takes effect at once.

Delete everything

Email hello@clearmarks.co from the address on your account, asking us to close it. We will:

Some audit records are retained where accounting or legal obligations require it. Those contain a record of actions taken, not your advertising or financial data.

If you connected a Meta or Google account

You can revoke our access directly with the provider, and it takes effect immediately without involving us:

Revoking access stops any further reading at once. To also have data already collected deleted, email us as above.

If you are not a Clearmarks customer

Clearmarks is a business tool. We do not collect data about members of the public, and we do not build profiles of our customers' end customers — we read aggregate revenue and cost figures, not individual identities.

If a business you deal with uses Clearmarks and you want your personal data removed, contact that business: they decide what is connected and they are the controller of that data. If you write to us we will pass the request on and support them in answering it, but we cannot act on their data without their instruction.

How to reach us

hello@clearmarks.co

We acknowledge every request within 5 working days, and complete it within 30 days. If a request will take longer, we will tell you why before that deadline, not after it.
